THE STORY:
On April 20th, 2015, Erin, Sarah, Hannah, and Terry will be running in loving memory of their father and husband, Philip Mulvey.
In 2012 Phil was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw. He underwent surgery and radiation and left the hospital with high hopes of complete recovery. Unfortunately, the cancer returned and as hard as Phil fought, through countless rounds of chemo and trial drugs, it took his life May 10th, 2014 at the young age of 56.
This year we run for our rock and for the hospital which allowed him the extra time with us. Cancer comes in all shapes, sizes, and types, but the pain it leaves with those who have lost someone is the same. We run together as a family and team to love and support those around us who also feel the loss of our best friend and to raise money in hopes of finally finding a cure to this disease.
