Dear friends and supporters,
A couple of years ago this would have been a challenge that I could not have taken. I couldn’t walk 2 blocks much less run 26.2 miles. Then I discovered the transformative powers of real food and running the marathon is my way of paying back all of the people who invested their time and talents educating me about the joys and the benefits of proper nutrition. I decided that I should run for The Sylvia Center and FamilyCook Productions because I believe that this information should be available to everyone, especially children. It has been a pleasure getting to know the young people in these two programs and to listen to the stories of how what they have learned has transformed their lives and the lives of their families and friends.
