About My Fundraising:
I am honored and excited to run in the 2015 Boston marathon with Brigham & Women's Hospital and fundraise for colon cancer research. 100% of my fundraising will go directly to the Bleday Discretionary Fund, which supports Colon Cancer research and treatment. I would greatly appreciate your support in reaching my $7,500 goal.
Ten years ago, my mother Agnes Carty passed away due to this relentless disease. Many of you knew my mother and remember her kindness, sense of humor, her beauty and her love for life. I am fundraising and running this marathon to honor her memory and to help combat and eventually conquer this disease. Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States and the third most common cancer in men and women. Let’s put a stop to it!
