Bryn Runs Across Haiti
THE STORY:
I’ve always loved running and who doesn’t love adventure?! Run Across Haiti manages to combine the 2 in a big way! In February 2018, I will be running with a purpose! I will be participating in an adventure run consisting of 200+ miles from Cap Haitian to Jacmel over the course of 8 days with Work, formerly known as Team Tassy. Work was one of the first organizations to cross my radar when I moved to Pittsburgh a year ago. Immediately I was moved and inspired by their vision. They are an organization that accompanies families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified work by focusing on education, job creation, and healthcare. They tackle one community at a time and ensure each family is successful. With your support, this run will raise money so the children of Menelas can attend school, their parents can have dignified jobs, and the community has access to medical care. I am grateful to be running on behalf of such an impactful, sustainable organization. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I’m lucky to be a part of it. Help support a great cause!
