How do we fight hunger?
By teaming up with relocation companies across the country, Move For Hunger is creating one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs. Our movers offer to pick up the unopened, non-perishable food items from those who are moving and deliver it to their local food banks. We also set up and food drive and hunger awareness events all across the country where our movers deliver the food to local food banks.
To date we are working with over 353 relocation companies and over 180 real estate professionals in 44 states. Together, we have collected over 730,000 lbs of food for food banks across America.
We need your help!
In a country known for its wealth and prosperity, 50 million Americans struggle to find their next meal. Because hunger is not limited to a single demographic or geographic region, Move for Hunger works year round to provide hunger relief for families across the country. In order to accomplish nationwide hunger relief, we need all the support we can get. The more people know about Move for Hunger, the bigger we can grow, and the more donations we can provide to food banks across the country.
