You're doing it. You're helping build a future for the over 40 big cats at CFAR--that's got to feel pretty good.

Thanks for joining us on the journey. Today, at 5:00pm, the STARTARYOT contest will end. It's be great if you can get your friends and family to help--the extra will go a long way and maybe even be THE difference in a contest as close as this one.

But I'll let you in on a little secret we've learned about big cats--it's all about relationships. And relationships grow and deepen over time. For some this is the start of a new association--for others, this is representative of a long-term bond. No matter where you are in the process, we're honored to be your guides and ambassadors as you engage the amazing world of big cats.

Thanks for being part of this effort, and we hope to hear from you again soon. But for now, let's combine our voices and push this contest along. You've helped start this RYOT--let's finish it!

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank each and every person who has made a donation to Central Florida Animal Reserve during this STARTARYOT Challenge. This is the first time that we've ever participated in a contest like this, and we've had an amazing outpouring of support.

You know, there was a time when CFAR couldn't even dream of being able to do something like this. We've come a long way since we reincorporated in 2007. Over that time we've faced the challenges of raising and caring for big cats through an amazing saga. We've struggled against the elements (think of every bad storm you've seen in the last 6 years--now imagine that storm against the backdrop of keeping tigers safe!). We've weathered gut wrenching losses as cats have aged and passed away. All of this in the shadow of one of the most challenging economic times in history.

Our progress has been slow at times, but we take strength from the resilience of our resident cats--and the dedication of our volunteers and donors. Our focus has never been clearer--guided by our founding motto: Compassion, Conservation, and Commitment.

You are receiving this message because you've already given to us in this RYOT challenge, and I want to thank you for that. But we are not done yet. The contest is entering its final week, and we have a plan to make sure that CFAR ends up at the top of the so we can take a share of the over $200,000 in prizes available.

But this only works with your help.

You've donated already--I get that. Whether it was $10 or $1000, each person has stepped up and shown that they are willing to do what it takes to give these cats a home. But if there's a chance that you could give again, it will make all the difference in these final contest days. If you know someone who has been interested but hasn't had a reason to give--now is the time! Funds are the only part that matters, the number of people does too--and we need less than 30 donors to qualify for the big prize!

We are all on the ground floor of something special that will bring big cats into our world in amazing and powerful ways. You've already done your part once, and now I plead with you to do it again if you can.
