This means so much.
To give these cats a chance at a new home and a new way of living is such an incredible gift. For many, the transition is going to be epic, as they may have never left the facility before. We were just reflecting on how they will have to relearn everything--from where to find water to where they use the restroom!
But it will be worth it! To see them in large new enclosures--to give them the chance to share a message about natural beauty and our role as people in it--it is a gift beyond words! And it's a gift that you are helping us reach!
The Holiday Challenge is coming to an end this Tuesday, and it's been an amazing run...but the CFAR Challenge continues as we work together to raise the final funds necessary to make this happen!
This is the year! And this group will help us get there! Share the message with your friends, family, and others, and let's build this together!

Did you know that when the weather gets cooler, the cats get frisky? It's kind of neat, watching them bounce around like excited cubs due to a little chill in the air. Here's hoping the holiday season brings you joy and blessings as you have shared your blessings with Central Florida Animal Reserve.

The Holiday Challenge contest is still ongoing, and you've helped us make a big impact so far. Over 1000 organizations around the country are involved you know--but there's news!

This week's challenge is less about the amount donated and more about the number of people who donate. So that means that right now, this is a prime time to talk friends and family into giving to CFAR. If everyone on our list here gives $10, then our donation count can go way up to put us in line for $10,000 as the organization with the most donations in a week!

CENTRAL FLORIDA ANIMAL RESERVE (CFAR) is a big cat & wildlife sanctuary focused on effective stewardship and meaningful relationships with our animal residents and educating the public at large.

Since 2007, Central Florida Animal Reserve (CFAR) has been caring for lions, tigers, leopards, and cougars at its facility located in Brevard County.  We are a no-breed, no-kill final home for big cats that would otherwise not have a home.  CFAR engages the world of the big cats through our mottos of Compassion, Conservation, and Commitment.  When it comes to big cats, it is about vision--a vision that sees them happy and content to the best of our ability to provide for them.

CFAR serves a vital function as a social safety net for big cats--because there are few places in the country with the skills and talents necessary to care for these magnificent beings and an overwhelming need to make sure that we preserve them for future generations.
