Firstly, can I start by clarifying a common misconception that many people have about meditation. It is NOT a religion and involves NO change in lifestyle. It is a "technique" to provide emotional, social and physical tools to enable more creativity, less stress, greater academic achievements, greater determination and much more. It is a life skill that can be taken into the future.
David Lynch, apart from becoming an eminent Hollywood film director, has studied Transcendental Meditation since 1973. The Foundation has the immediate goal of teaching Transcendental Meditation to one million "at-risk youths". It has already provided more than 100,000 scholarships for students to learn to meditate, as well as inmates and guards in prisons, formerly homeless men in re-entry programs, soldiers with PTSD returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, American Indians suffering from diabetes and so many more!! I would be so grateful if you would just take a few moments to find out about this important work that is benefitting thousands of people from all walks of life. The health benefits are immense!

PLEASE watch the video to hear David Lynch and the KIDS THEMSELVES, talk about the benefits and RESULTS of TM. It's surprising how KEEN they are and even some of YOU may find it beneficial!!

To me, anything that can help to reduce the anxiety, stress, depression & anger that kids suffer at school, and that will help them to concentrate, study & learn; anything to help inmates to not re-offend; anything to help prison guards support those inmates; anything to help formerly homeless people to be worthy members of society; anything to help people deal with and control their diabetes and anything to help soldiers deal with PTSD and the HORROR of fighting in wars for ALL OF US, can only be an amazing, life changing practice to be taught to them, to help them with their FUTURE that they so deserve.
