Able Flight
Able Flight's Mission
Able Flight's mission is to offer people with disabilities a unique way to challenge themselves through flight training and aviation career training, and by doing so, to gain greater self-confidence and self-reliance. We make it possible for people with physical disabilities to become pilots or have careers in aviation. People who use wheelchairs or have prosthetic arms or legs, and even an amazing young woman born with arms are now pilots because of Able Flight.
We believe that aviation should be open to anyone that can meet the challenge of learning to fly, and since we started Able Flight in 2006, we've created an incredible support network and we've given scholarships to 60 inspiring people (with more to come soon!).
