THE STORY:
Every year I say that I may take a break from my Boston Marathon. A respite for my aging joints and a hiatus for my long standing generous donors. And each year I decide to run again. I am inspired every day by the patients who are treated at Spaulding, and by the clincians who care for them. I run because I can.
Please be as generous as you can in supporting my run for Spaulding. Our ability to help our patients and their families depends on the generosity of the broader community.

Running for a Purpose:
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to once again partner with John Hancock as part of their non-profit marathon program. Over the past 10 years, more than 300 runners have raised over $2.5 million directly supporting the programs and services at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Funds raised through the Race for Rehab program provides advancements to patient care, education, research innovation and capital improvements. Every dollar will support our mission to improve the quality of life for persons recovering from or learning to live fully with illness, injury or diability.
We are so thankful for the hard work and dedication of all of our runners, as well as the friends and family members who support them. Our team is comprised of former patients, family members, loyal volunteers and dedicated staff. Together, we will help our patients find their strength.
