THE STORY:
Camp Sunshine inspires hope for families whose children have cancer. My husband's childhood friend was diagnosed with brain cancer and spent time as a camper there, and later as a counselor when she was in remission. He remembers Camp Sunshine bringing her and her family much-needed joy. Some of my colleagues use their vacation time to volunteer at Camp Sunshine, returning each year. When I learned I could raise money for Camp Sunshine by running the Chicago Marathon, I decided it was time to start increasing my mileage! Please consider supporting me in my goal to fund at least one family's camp experience ($2500). Thank you!
