In loving memory of Holly...
Your time here was short, but you will not be forgotten...
Hello everyone!
I am not ashamed to admit that I have always been physically inept. Yes, "P.E." was always my least favorite period in school, and I have been accused of tripping over air. Perhaps that's the reason I'm all the more excited about my first-ever attempt at a marathon!
I've been training for the LA Marathon since last September, and boy, it has been A LOT of hard work!! My reasons for doing it have been two-fold: personal ones that I won't get into here :) and animal-related ones that I will -- to raise money for one of my favorite rescue groups, Kitten Rescue.
I have been volunteering with Kitten Rescue since January 2005 and have seen first-hand that every dollar goes to help the animals. Although Kitten Rescue was founded as a cat rescue non-profit, we now rescue both cats and dogs. So all you dog-lovers out there: we need your help too!
I am raising money specifically for Kitten Rescue's "Hope Fund" - an emergency fund for animals in dire need of medical attention (for example, stray animals we find who've been hit by cars).
For my own back story, and to meet some of the animals saved by the Hope Fund so far, please click on this link:

Your donations will save the lives of cats and dogs, and are tax-deductible, so please consider sponsoring me!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! : )
