WhyHunger has been part of my life since it was founded around my kitchen table when I was just out of diapers, and it was known as World Hunger Year. Today, WhyHunger's work serves as my daily inspiration and volunteer workload! I have been on WhyHunger's Board of Directors for going on 20 years, and have also served as Board Chair and Secretary, as well as being a spokesperson and doing any number of other projects and benefits. It is the programs and the staff that inspire me the most, and give me hope for a future of good food for all.
