Thank you everyone for participating in this tremendously successful campaign!
The Denver Rescue Mission provides Thanksgiving Dinner for thousands of homeless and poor individuals and families each year. This year they had requests for 18,000 turkeys … but had only had 270 donated one week before Thanksgiving.
Thanks to this campaign orchestrated with a bunch of other great efforts (#10000turkeys was a very hot Twitter tag!), the Mission met the 18,000 target in one week -- in time to provide almost 90,000 meals for the homeless and poor in and around Denver this year.
The Denver StartUp Community played a huge role in particular -- awesome, and thank you.
We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season, and thank you again for your generosity and enthusiasm.
