Like a raging zombie virus, Girls Inc. of Chattanooga’s technology programs are spreading, infecting girls’ brains with Information Technology, design, and computer literacy. Our programs haunt the halls of local schools—elementary through high school—igniting girls’ interest in pursuing postsecondary STEM education and/or IT careers.Be warned of The Curse of the Coder Girls, which haunts anyone who doesn’t donate. It’s the scary kind of curse that makes your devices stop working for no apparent reason or autocorrects your innocent texts to insults. But there’s a way to avoid the curse: donate to Girls Inc. via Crowdrise!
What do the Coder Girls want from you? For starters, they could really use a 3D printer and materials to bring their ideas to life. Whether it’s a model of a building, a bracelet, or even Frankenstein’s monster. We want to open a new world for girls and empower them to explore nontraditional careers such as STEM. We think a great way to do this is by showing them they can create tangible objects they care about and developing their interests in computers, IT, and design.
So donate today, right now! Or fall prey to the Curse of the Coder Girls! We’ve experienced it and trust us, it’s not worth the risk. Coder Girls really like donations in multiples of 3(D) — whether that be $6, $30, $90 or more. But any donation will protect you from the curse.
