We are passionate defenders of the native biological diversity of the Greater Southern Rockies. Since our inception in 1999, we have protected over one million acres of key wildlife habitat and bolstered existing protections for wildlife and plants on millions more. Our niche – advocating on behalf of imperiled native plants and wildlife – is increasingly important in the face of rapidly escalating extinction rates around the planet. As the myriad regional threats to our native biological diversity magnify - the mad scramble for oil and gas development in the West, political attacks on longstanding conservation laws, burgeoning urban sprawl – we remain steadfast in our defense of intact and healthy native ecosystems.
