40 something male, recovering addict and alcoholic habitating in Charlotte NC. Semi-workaholic, covered in tattoos and loves animals, particularly those of the canine persuasion. I know...I know...why feed animals when there are people starving. I cannot argue that point. I would say there are lots of people who are being helped by charitable donations, and lots of families that have to "surrender" loved pets for any number of reasons. Some are justified, others just plain suck but it is, what it is.Spend whatever free time I do have running, reading, working with rescue groups and local Humane Society. I just feel like I can maybe...possibly do some good for someone by bringing into their life the unconditional love of a rescued dog or cat or horse or whatever. not to mentiion savng the life of another dog or cat destined to be destroyed
