Shantel VanSanten lost her grandmother to lung cancer. This disease is the the #1 cancer killer in men and women in America. Every 5 minutes a woman is told she has lung cancer. The rate of lung cancer death in women has doubled in 35 years. Let's help Shantel together and honor the life of her grandmother DD.

I am aiming to raise $1500 for The American Lung association which organizes events like Lung Force walks that Shantel have been joining and raising money for. This is a SURPRISE that will be presented to her in person.

"I started getting involved with this charity when one of the most important women in my life passed away from lung cancer this year. My grandmother Doris Dooyema. She was diagnosed and only had 8 beautiful months of life after that with us. She was not a smoker nor around smoke and it was an anomaly to us all.

Part of her legacy was hoping she could inspire others and I wish to help her continue this. She inspires me still with her strength and I want to make a HUGE difference in her honor and this time raise money for the American Lung Assocaition initiative LUNG FORCE.
