This core belief has fueled Little Kids Rock's work to erich the lives of more than 400,000 under-served children by building a world, through music, where kids can rich, purposeful lives.
A $25 donation provides one inner city public school student with an entire year of music lessons rooted in the popular music genres that they know and love.

At Little Kids Rock, we do more than just donate instruments; we train public school teachers, and provide them with educational resources and lesson plans that immediately get kids playing the musical styles that they know and love – pop, rock, hip hop, country, funk, etc. This student-centered learning experience, which we call "Modern Band," makes music education fun and engaging!
What started as a single teacher’s vision to give guitar lessons to his students, has since become a national movement of more than 1,200 public school teachers who are revitalizing music education in public schools across the country.
So while arts and music programs are being eliminated due to a lack of funding, Little Kids Rock is expanding its free programming to more schools each year in nearly 30 cities so that more kids across the country receive their right to rock.
