In a few short weeks, on April 20th I will be running the 2015 Boston Marathon on the 5 year anniversary of My Dad's passing.  I am overwhelmed with emotion to be able to have the opportunity to run in this historic race.  My Dad, John Morrissey was the most wonderful man, friend, husband, father and grandfather.  He was the life of every party and the light of our lives.  We miss him every day and are heartbroken that he is not here to celebrate all the joys life has brought us.  Five years ago my Dad lost his brief battle with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma and this year on April 20th I will run in his honor to bring new meaning to this day for our family. No one should suffer from this disease and no family should have to lose their loved ones too soon.  With your help I would like to raise money for the Team in Training: Leukemia Lymphoma Society, an established charity focused on blood cancer research. I have trained in what is now known as the snowiest winter in Boston's history.  I have already run over 500 miles with the help of my BRF's (Best Running Friends) and the support of my family.  I know my Dad will push me over the finish line on Boylston St. as I complete my first 26.2.  Please consider donating today, thank you - xo Jen
