With #GivingTuesday and the holidays fast approaching, we wanted to make sure our nonprofit partners, and really all nonprofits were aware of a great opportunity available to them from Newman’s Own Foundation and CrowdRise. Here’s the invite:
This is an incredibly exciting year for us, as we are celebrating the 35th anniversary of Newman’s Own and $500 million to charity. We’re so proud of the impact of our founder, Paul Newman, our organization, and the thousands of nonprofits we’ve supported.
To make 2017 even more special, we’re supporting an amazing campaign for the holiday season. We’ve teamed up with CrowdRise on the Newman’s Own Foundation $500,000 Holiday Charity Challenge - and you're personally invited.
Newman’s Own Foundation is funded by the profits and royalties from the sale of Newman’s Own food and beverage products, and this year it’s our gift to you. This holiday season, participating nonprofits have access to $500,000 in grant prizes and great tools and features that will help you raise more money for your organization.
As Paul Newman said, “Giving back is just the right thing to do,” and that’s why we're happy to help CrowdRise launch this challenge on November 21st.
Along with the prize of $150,000 to the top fundraising organization and other grand prizes, participating nonprofits have opportunities to win funds on #GivingTuesday and each week throughout the campaign.
