A GLIMMER OF HOPE INC

A Glimmer of Hope Foundation, ‘the symbol of the cure”, is widely recognized in the Pittsburgh area. For the past eighteen years, the foundation has been dedicated to raising funds to further breast cancer research in pre-menopausal women. Since the incidence of breast cancer in women under forty is increasing, the foundation is positioning itself to expand its effort to a national level in order to focus more attention to this alarming development.

It now seems to be the appropriate time to renew efforts and expand our focus, hosting more events each year. In addition to the Bid for Hope event hosted by Pittsburgh Steeler Heath Miller and his wife Katie along with Alan and Julie Faneca. We have hosted Pitch for Hope with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Clays for the Cure with Home Depot, and much more in the past year.
