The Academy for Veteran Educational and Training was created in 2013 to train U.S. military veterans, their spouses and family members in the legal services industry as court reporters, legal transcribers, and legal IT professionals. So, far, the Academy has successfuly trained over 40 military veterans and their spouses and has successfully placed them in well-paying careers in legal services in Virginia. The Academy is opening up a new training facility in Norfolk Virginia to help transitioning, disabled, homeless and older veterans start a new and rewarding career.
