Every hour of every day families in our community face hunger, homelessness, and abuse. On Saturday, October 17, 2015, ACTS of Prince William, Image Church, and the Potomac Nationals are partnering to host the 5th Annual IWALK for ACTS, which features a 5K fundraising walk and free family festival. Join us in supporting our most vulnerable neighbors in need. Together, we can help feed, shelter and protect countless individuals.
Last year's event drew hundreds of people together for a day of fun, fitness, and fellowship, and in the process, raised more than $34,000 to help local families struggling to make ends meet. This year's event at Pfitzner Stadium is shaping up to be an even bigger success for this important cause.
ACTS and Image Church have worked together for nearly a decade to support families in need and specifically through IWALK since 2011. ACTS of Prince William has experienced a 40% increase in demand for food assistance and similar increases in all service areas, and expects to serve more than 85,000 individuals in crisis this year.
