GiveLove has built compost toilets and compost centers for thousands of people and primary school kids since the 2010 earthquake. Our mission is to promote Eco-Sanitation, protect water resources, and teach people practical technical skills so they can learn to make their own compost toilets and compost centers. Humanure compost is nutrient-rich and can replenish Haiti's depleted soils to improve local food security. Help us raise money to expand our skills training program and build more compost centers in Haiti.
GiveLove was founded by Patricia Arquette and Rosetta Millington-Getty to develop temporary housing solutions and improved sanitation systems in Haiti. GiveLove is working on community-led sanitation projects to treat and compost waste, improve public health, and create jobs around recycling.
